We are very proud of our contribution this term to the Children In Need fund raising campaign. Earlier this year our efforts were recognised by the charity who granted us Loyal Supporter status for our annual fundraising event JBay.
This year JBay took place on the same day as the BBC telethon, Friday 18th November, with each of our six year 9 Social, Moral and Cultural studies classes given £50 to spend on resources. The classes were asked to come up with ideas for games and other fun activities for the rest of the school to take part in. The day started with a cake sale at break time raising £96 followed by a fun afternoon of stalls and games ending with our charity auction hosted by Mr Clementson. All our efforts paid off and we raised a whopping £1400 and counting for this worthy cause! We all had a fabulous time.
