Learning Resource Centre
The Learning Resource Centre (LRC) is situated at the centre of the school. It is an open airy space on the main floor, which is used daily by students either for independent study, Accelerated Reader sessions or after school clubs.
Always keen to test new technologies and to inspire students, we have invested in an electronic library which students can access via the Internet anywhere in the world. The website for this is vlebooks.com and students can now login with their office 365 details.
There are currently over 2000 fiction books in the library ranging in diversity from Horrid Henry to Tokyo Ghoul, Pride and Prejudice to Diary of a Wimpy Kid; a vast selection of books for students of all abilities and ages.
After school the area is slightly more relaxed with students playing board games to encourage socialisation, completing homework and reading books!
The LRC is open after school every afternoon until 3:30pm (3:15pm on Fridays).
Mornings are only for completion of homework or printing and the LRC can be accessed from 8am.
